The information contained both herein and on our website is designed to disseminate general information. 3. I shall assume full responsibility for myself and any of my guests and/or invitees;
4. I understand that Strictly Salt of Metairie, L.L.C. does not evaluate or diagnose my health and I have received medical clearance prior to engaging in Strictly Salt of Metairie, L.L.C. activities;
5. I have been advised of the following possible side effects: Dry or itchy throat, nasal drip, and increased coughing at the beginning. This is a natural part of the cleaning process of the respiratory system, during which the pollution, accumulated through a long time, and now loosened up by the salt, are expelled from even the deepest regions of the lungs. Such side effects should cease with the removal of pollution and pathogens. Skin irritation and dermal sensitivity may occur. In such a case, decrease the frequency of sessions.
6. Strictly Salt of Metairie, L.L.C. has neither applied for or received approval by the Food and Drug Administration or any other consumer protection group;
7. The use of the rooms at Strictly Salt of Metairie, L.L.C. has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration or any other agency;
8. The use of Strictly Salt of Metairie, L.L.C. is not intended to treat, cure or prevent any illness or condition. All medical conditions should be treated by a physician competent in treating that particular condition. Strictly Salt of Metairie, L.L.C. assumes no responsibility for customers choosing to treat themselves;
9. All products and services provided by Strictly Salt of Metairie, L.L.C., including written information, labels, brochures and flyers as well as information provided orally or in any other medium of communication, have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
For all of your health concerns, please consult an appropriately licensed healthcare practitioner. Halotherapy is not recommended in the following cases: Tuberculosis, Fever, Contagious conditions, Severe heart disorders, Existence of cancer, Advanced pregnancy, Acute state of respiratory attack. The use of Strictly Salt of Metairie, L.L.C. is not intended to substitute for medical care or treatment. Do not stop your medication without first consulting with your doctor. The halotherapy does NOT substitute for any conventional medication. THIS PROTECTION COVERS Strictly Salt of Metairie, L.L.C., ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SUPPLIERS. THIS PROTECTION COVERS ALL LOSSES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT OR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, AND PUNITIVE DAMAGES, PERSONAL INJURY/WRONGFUL DEATH, LOST PROFITS, OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USE OF STRICTLY SALT OF METAIRIE, L.L.C. AND ITS FACILITIES
Terms and Conditions
Adult Halotherapy Rules
We reserve the right to end your session and ask you to leave with no refund if the following rules are not obeyed.
- Please consider other clients relaxation and enjoyment
- No eating or drinking is permitted inside the Halotherapy room
- Walk-ins are welcome; however only if space is available
- 24 Hours notice is required to change or cancel appointments for a full refund. If you miss your appointment and you have pre-paid through the mind body app, we will not be able to refund you.
- Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment. For first appointments please allow time to fill out paperwork and prepare for the treatment. If you are late it may result in you missing your session.
- Wear comfortable clothing
- Strictly NO mobile phones or electronic devices are permitted in the Halotherapy rooms.
- Footwear is permitted in the adult Halotherapy rooms. If you would like to take off your shoes in the adult room, please make sure that you have socks.
- Please be considerate of others in the Halotherapy room and do not use strong deodorant, perfume, after shave. Strong body odor can also be troublesome to others seeking Halotherapy.
- No smokers are allowed in the Halotherapy Room because of scent sensitivity of other clients.
- *You must be smoke free for three weeks before beginning Halotherapy sessions. Coming to sessions while you smoke will offer no benefit to your respiratory health.
- Please make sure you use the restroom before the session so you do not disturb other clients by leaving the halotherapy room during your session.
- Please try not to open the door during the Halotherapy session unless absolutely needed.
- It is very important to have some water before and after treatment.
- Please do not come for a treatment during any active stage of any infectious disease.
- An employee will notify you when your Halotherapy session is over and it is safe to open the door.
Kid's Halotherapy Rules
- No electronics of any kind will be permitted in the kid's halotherapy room.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your session start time to make sure you have enough time to fill out paper work and prepare for your session.
- 24 hour notice is required to cancel your appointment for a full refund.
- No eating or drinking is allowed inside of the halotherapy room.
- Walk-in's are welcome but are subject to space available in the kid's halotherapy room.
- Please bring socks for your child. If socks are forgotten, they are available for purchase.
- It is the parent/guardian's responsibility to look after the child and make sure that they are not throwing salt or running in the kid's halotherapy room.
- Please do not bring your child if he or she is potty training to avoid having any accidents in the halotherapy room.
- Do not bring your child if he or she has an infectious disease.
- Children between the ages of 0 and 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Children over the age of 12 must have their session in the adult halotherapy room.
Membership
Members will have a maximum of 2 sessions per day in the halotherapy rooms. Please log onto your Mind Body App or our website to book your session or call ahead (504 - 517 - 2581) to book. We cannot guarantee that a member will have a seat available if they walk in without an appointment.
Members will receive the benefit of 10% off of their retail items and 50% off event services like Salt Yoga and Salt and Sound.
Member Discount does not apply to Wellness Wednesday supply fees.
Annual members will be locked into their contract for 12 months. An auto pay program will withdraw a monthly fee from the card that was designated when membership was purchased. If for any reason the auto pay transfer does not go through, the member will not be able to book or attend further sessions until the issue is remedied.
If an annual contract must be broken, the member will pay the difference between membership tiers for the month's used.
For monthly memberships, the auto pay system will continue to renew every month until it is cancelled by the client. There is no minimum term with this membership.
Membership begins on day of purchase.
